These Referral Terms (“Terms”) apply when you submit your information through the Assist World Data Partners page or otherwise ask us to refer your business to a data licensing program. By checking the box on our intake form or submitting your details, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Assist World Data Partners is operated by Scale Enterprises LLC, doing business as Assist World, a Nevada limited liability company (“Assist World,” “we,” “us”). “You” means the person submitting information and the business they represent. You confirm you are authorized to act for that business.
2. We are a referral partner only
Assist World introduces qualifying businesses to Mode.Inc and its BizBuyData program (the “Partner”). We do not buy, sell, license, evaluate or value data. Any data licensing agreement is solely between you and the Partner. Assist World is not a party to that agreement and has no obligations under it.
3. No agency or endorsement
Assist World is an independent company. We are not an agent, employee, broker or representative of the Partner, and we cannot make promises or sign anything on its behalf. A referral is not a recommendation that licensing your data is right for your business.
4. No guarantees
The Partner alone decides eligibility, valuation, offer terms, de-identification methods, timing and payment. Any figures on our site, including license ranges and payment timelines, are illustrative and based on information the Partner has published or shared. They are not quotes, offers or guarantees. We do not guarantee that you will qualify, receive an offer, close a deal or be paid any amount.
5. We never handle your business data
Assist World does not access, collect, store, transfer or de-identify your company’s records, systems or files. We never ask for logins or passwords. All data review, collection and de-identification happens directly between you and the Partner, under the Partner’s own terms and privacy practices.
6. Information we collect and share
To make a referral, we collect the contact and qualification details you submit, such as your name, email, phone, business name, industry, headcount and the tools your team uses. You consent to us sharing these details with the Partner so it can contact you and assess eligibility. We handle this information as described in our Privacy Policy. Once shared, the Partner’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
7. Referral fee disclosure
The Partner pays Assist World a referral fee if a licensing deal with your business closes. You never pay us anything for a referral. Our fee is paid by the Partner and does not reduce or change the Partner’s offer to you.
8. Not legal, tax or financial advice
Nothing on our site or in our communications is legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Licensing business records may raise confidentiality, privilege, privacy, contractual or regulatory issues, especially for law firms, accounting firms and businesses holding customer or client data. You are responsible for confirming you have the right to license your records and for getting your own professional advice before signing anything.
9. Limitation of liability
The referral service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Assist World is not liable for any act, omission, decision, offer, payment, data handling or security incident of the Partner or any AI company, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms is limited to $100.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Assist World and its owners, managers and team members from claims arising out of your licensing of data, your agreement with the Partner, or your breach of any confidentiality, privacy or other legal obligation.
11. Changes and ending a referral
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. You can ask us at any time to stop a referral or stop sharing your details with the Partner by emailing [email protected]; this does not undo information already shared or affect any agreement you have signed with the Partner. This referral program is separate from, and does not change, any Assist World virtual assistant services agreement you have with us.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
